Jessica is a fifth-generation Northern Californian who served as Deputy Secretary for Forest and Wildland Resilience at the California Natural Resources Agency and currently serves as a Commissioner on the U.S. Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission. Not only has Jessica worked on the front lines of protecting Californian’s from wildfires, she also brings a decade of experience working on national security. Jessica is committed to fighting for women’s reproductive rights, protecting our community and homes from wildfires, supporting our seniors, addressing our housing crisis, and reducing the federal deficit!

Rudy Salas is a lifelong Valley resident, the first Latino elected to Bakersfield City Council, and Member of the California State Assembly. Salas worked his way from laboring in the fields with his father to graduating from UCLA. Salas is committed to expanding access to healthcare, lowering the cost of prescription medications like insulin, and fighting for workers, clean water, public safety, seniors and women’s health.

Joe Kerr is a highly decorated fire captain who served the Orange County Fire Authority for 34 years. He was also the first president of the Orange County Professional Firefighters Association (IAFF 3631), a position he held for 17 years. As a labor leader, Joe aided in the passing of over 200 bills and initiatives and is committed to creating an economy that works for all, protecting reproductive freedom, common-sense gun safety, and LGBT protections.

After returning home, Ruben’s military service motivated him to seek public office and ensure that members of the military are never again sent into harm’s way without a plan for winning the fight and caring for those who serve when they return home.”

After working as a computer programmer in Southern Nevada, she stepped away from her career to take care of her aging parents and in-laws. Before running for office, Jacky was a community leader in Henderson and served as the president of her synagogue.”
